"One last thing before we move to writing your information down and taking photos of the house. Do you know how much you want to ask for your house?" Barb asks.

"We do actually," Tom replies. "We had met with Julie's cousin who is a real estate agent and he told us how he would price the house. It was pretty close to the number I had in mind. I knew what we paid for the house The Deal about three years ago, and then I essentially took a look around to see how other similar homes were being priced. I did my own market analysis."

"Good for you," Barb responds. "That's how a lot of people come up with their price. Since pricing is so important to the successful sale of a home, we like to suggest a real estate appraiser to those that aren't sure how to set an accurate price. You sound like you have this all under control."

"I think so," Tom says. "We might be at the top of the range, but I think I'm comfortable with using this as the starting point. You did say we could change this if we wanted to right?"

"That's right," Barb replies. "Price can be updated at any time."

"Well, that is essentially the process of selling your home. Any questions?" Barb asks as she begins to wrap up the process.

"I don't think so," Tom replies. "Do you have any questions, Julie?"

"No, other than getting a copy of that report, I'm fine." Julie replies.

"No problem at all, I've made myself a note to email that report to you." Barb scribbles down a note on the listing form.

"Sounds good," Tom says. "Well, this definitely confirms a lot of the things I've heard from Walter. I'm glad you went through the entire procedure though. It was good to hear it from A to Z."

"That's great," Barb says reassuringly. "I'm really glad you are feeling comfortable with the whole process."
